The Winona Senior Beta Club recently attended the Missouri State Beta Competition. Twenty-eight students traveled to Branson for two days of competition. The following students individually qualified for nationals: Jillian Plunk, 5th place in 9th grade Language Arts, Lakelynn Bartlett, 4th place in 10th grade French, Cierra Wallace, 4th place in 11th grade French, Isaac Ipock, 4th place in Division I Fiber Arts, Evan Fears, 3rd place in Division II Digital Art. Kloey Doss, Cappi Boyer, Taylor Williams, Claire Neal, Jillian Plunk, Vanessa West, and Malaki Voyles placed 3rd in Living Literature. Isaac Ipock, Jillian Plunk, and Taylor Williams placed 3rd in Marketing and Communications. The club also placed 5th with their Club Trading Pin. Additionally, in September Alyssa Barkley, Cappi Boyer, and Kloey Doss attended the Regional Leadership Summit and qualified for Nationals in the Lead Outside the Box Category. Students will have the opportunity to travel this summer to Savannah, Georgia to compete at the National Beta Convention. We are so proud of all the students who took the time this weekend to compete and represent our school.
