The Winona Beta Club spent three days competing in the Missouri Senior State Beta Convention in Branson, Missouri.
Overall, we had 10 students place in 8 events. Kylie Williams 3rd place in Accessorized Design; Issac Ipock 2nd place in Division I Fiber Arts; Kylie Williams 5th place in 9th grade French; Cadence Feldbaumer 1st place in Division II Onsite Painting; Taylor Williams, Isaac Ipock, and Jillian Plunk 2nd place in Marketing and Communications; Cash Pasley, Isaac Ipock, Nathan Martin, Conley Voyles, Kylie Williams, and Alyssa Vermillion 4th place in Performing Arts - Small Group; Taylor Williams 4th place in Onsite Cake Decorating, Alexis Hagler 3rd place in Division II Color Photography.
In September, 5 students, Taylor Williams, Alyssa Barkley, Lorelai Crider, Joseph Mounce, and Jillian Plunk, attended Leadership Conference in Cape Girardeau. These students qualified to compete in Nationals in Collaboration Connection, Lead Outside the Box, and Project Proposal.
All 13 of these students will now take their projects and talents to National Convention in Orlando, FL this summer to compete with students from all across the United States. We are so proud of them!
